I came to the world of visual arts through painting and was instinctively drawn to abstract expressionism and the zero movement / arte povera. My own paintings are subtly suffused with social messaging, delicately layered, imperceptibly textured and restricted in their colour palette.
Since a few years, I’ve eagerly embraced photography as a much welcomed complementary medium as one would a new palette of hues to enable a broader spectrum of expression. Photography has further sharpened my sense of observation, attention to details, visual language and sense of composition.
I owe photography a whole new way of seeing!
Much of my work explores visual wonderment and delves into emotional sensitivity towards fleeting beauty. This site includes just a few snapshots including a glimpse of my latest exhibit, The Nature of Light, shown in London Jan 2019… and likely traveling to Paris in late May.
